Bac Sum Slope, also known as Bac Sum Pass, is a winding ascent located on National Highway 4C in Minh Tan commune, Vi Xuyen district, and Quyet Tien commune, Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province. The pass is named after the nearby Bac Sum village.
Bac Sum Slope boasts a majestic and untouched beauty with its meandering curves embracing the mountain slopes. Stretching over 7km, with an elevation of over 450m above sea level, the slope presents an intriguing challenge for adventure enthusiasts.
From the summit of Bac Sum Slope, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the majestic Northwest mountains. The lush green terraced fields, simple stilt houses nestled against the mountainside, and winding narrow roads create a breathtaking natural masterpiece.
Bac Sum Slope is also known as the starting point of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, preserving unique geological values and impressive natural landscapes. The slope serves as a vital artery connecting four northern highland districts, contributing to local trade and economic development.
