Itinerary
07:30 AM - Breakfast (Beef/Chicken Pho):
Phở is a famous traditional dish of Vietnam, beloved for its delicious and rich flavor. This dish is a perfect combination of sweet and savory broth simmered from beef bones, soft and chewy pho noodles, thinly sliced beef, and various fresh herbs.

08:00 AM - Check-in at KM0 of Ha Giang City:
The KM0 milestone is constructed from solid granite, standing approximately 2 meters tall, with the inscription "National Highway 2 - Km0" clearly engraved. This milestone serves as a welcoming symbol for visitors to Ha Giang and also marks the beginning of exciting journeys along the legendary route.

08:30 AM: Departure to conquer the Rocky Plateau, along the way, we will visit and check-in at the following famous tourist spots:

  • Bac Sum Pass: Bac Sum Pass is one of the most beautiful and impressive mountain passes in Ha Giang, located on National Highway 4C connecting Minh Tan commune, Vinh Xuong district with Quyet Tien commune, Quan Ba district. Renowned for its 7km length and steep incline, Bac Sum Pass is always a challenge for those who love conquering rugged roads.

  • Quan Ba Heaven's Gate: Quan Ba Heaven's Gate is one of the famous tourist destinations in the homeland. Located at an altitude of over 1500 meters above sea level, it is an important gateway connecting the districts of Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, and Meo Vac.

  • Twin Mountains Quan Ba: Situated on the Dong Van Karst Plateau, Twin Mountains Quan Ba is renowned for its image of two towering peaks rising side by side, creating a unique and impressive symbol amidst the majestic mountainous terrain.

  • Solitary Tree: This stunted tree grows on a karst rock outcrop, where the soil is dry, rocky, and lacking in water, under harsh conditions. However, over the years, the tree has remained green and healthy, reaching out and stretching towards the sky, like a symbol of strong, resilient life force.

  • Cán Tỷ Pass: Cán Tỷ Pass boasts a pristine and majestic natural landscape, with towering limestone cliffs and winding roads. Standing atop the pass, visitors can gaze out over the sprawling mountainous terrain, experiencing the grandeur of nature in this area. If lucky, travelers may even catch a glimpse of the sea of clouds stretching out below the mountains.

  • Tham Ma Pass: Tham Ma Pass is closely associated with the legend of the "weakened horses" - sturdy horses specialized in transporting goods through treacherous routes. According to folklore, old and feeble horses that cannot continue the journey are "evaluated" here, and those deemed unfit to proceed become a dish known as "Thắng cố," a local specialty. However, this tradition is no longer prevalent today due to the widespread use of motorcycles for transportation by locals, and the current scarcity of horses.

  • Nine Turns Pass: Situated between the two communes of Pho Cao and Sung La, Nine Turns Pass emerges as a spectacular challenge for those who love to explore the majestic land of Ha Giang. True to its name, the pass boasts nine consecutive hairpin bends with steep gradients, winding around the rugged slopes of the limestone mountains.

  • Cultural Village of Lung Cam: The Cultural Village of Lung Cam, located in Lung Cam hamlet, Sung La commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province, is a captivating destination renowned for its simple, rustic beauty and rich cultural identity of the H'Mong ethnic people. It is famously known as the "village of Pao" - the main setting in the acclaimed film "Pao's Story".

  • Moon Rock Field: The formation of Moon Rock Field is the result of millions of years of natural erosion on the limestone mountain range. Stacked rock formations create a rugged and impressive landscape. The rocky surface is rough, angular, and sharp, stretching across the ground like unique pieces of nature's puzzle.

  • Vuong Family Mansion: Nestled amidst the majestic Dong Van limestone plateau, the Vuong Family Mansion stands tall as an emblem of the power and wealth of the Vuong family clan—one of the most influential clans in this region.

  • Lung Cu Flag Tower: The Lung Cu Flag Tower was built in 1962 and consists of three parts: the base, the column shaft, and the column top. The base is made of truncated pyramid-shaped stone blocks, the column shaft is made of steel with a height of 30 meters, and on top of the column is a red flag with a yellow star spanning 54m2, symbolizing the 54 fraternal ethnic groups of Vietnam.

  • Dong Van Old Town: Dong Van Old Town was formed over 100 years ago and served as a bustling trading hub for ethnic minorities in the region. Despite the historical ups and downs, the old town still retains its ancient architecture and traditional cultural values.

5:00 PM - Check-in and rest at Dong Van Town.

6:00 PM - Dinner followed by participating in a campfire cultural exchange at Dong Van Old Town.

8:00 AM - Enjoy steamed rolled rice pancakes for breakfast:
Ha Giang-style steamed rolled rice pancakes are thin, soft, and snowy white, notably not pan-fried but steamed in a pot, ensuring they remain soft, chewy, and don't stick together. The dipping sauce is also special, made from broth, shiitake mushrooms, wood ear fungus, minced meat, and spices, providing a sweet, savory, and flavorful taste, enhancing the flavor of the rice pancakes.

09:00 AM - Departure to explore Ma Pi Leng and the sightseeing checkpoints:

  • The Rock Plateau of Death: The Rock Plateau of Death in Ma Pi Leng is located along the Ma Pi Leng Pass, in Pải Lủng commune, Mèo Vạc district, Hà Giang province. This place is renowned as one of the most dangerous "Instagrammable" check-in points in Vietnam, attracting adventurous travelers seeking to explore and experience intense sensations.

11:30 AM - Cruise along the Nho Quế River to admire the Tu San Gorge:

  • Situated amidst the Dong Van Karst Plateau, Tu San Gorge is one of the most renowned tourist destinations in Ha Giang, attracting visitors with its majestic and pristine beauty. The gorge is formed by the Nho Quế River, with two towering cliffs rising over 700 meters, creating an incredibly impressive landscape.

12:00 PM - Enjoy lunch with a "Breathtaking View" at the Tu San Gorge

1:00 PM - Visit the OCOP stalls showcasing the famous local specialty products:

Here, various renowned products are available for display and sale, such as Mint Honey, Buckwheat Wine, Buckwheat Beer, Corn Liquor, and other special items. (Visitors can explore the exhibits without obligation to purchase if not interested.)

2:00 PM - Depart for Du Gia, with check-in points along the way:
